Day at the Capitol - 2023

Following a short briefing session, we will meet with House and Senate members during pre-scheduled appointments beginning at 9:00 and ending around Noon. Following our appointments there will be 4 hours of continuing education, including RAYUS presenting 3 hours of our x-ray requirement.

Title: Diagnostic Imaging

Course Description:  "I will be presenting a variety of diagnostic imaging studies (x-rays, MRI & CT) with histories, thorough review of the significant imaging findings and discussion of the clinical relevance of those findings, along with any related follow-up imaging & the clinical course.  The course is designed to illustrate the vital role that diagnostic imaging plays in the work-up and management of patients as well as to emphasize the importance of teamwork between the patients’ care provider and the radiologist."

Title: Professional Boundaries in Sports

Course Description:  "This class will explore a high profile professional boundary case in USA athletics.  A discussion around remedies that were put in place to prevent this type of issue from happening again and how sports professionals are required to report inappropriate behavior.."

With a near historic number of new lawmakers who have taken office since the November election, we have an important opportunity to introduce them to the chiropractic profession and our value in Minnesota’s health care workforce, and reconnect with incumbents who have supported us in the past.
